On the heels of the recently signed Stan Winston representation deal with Shevick*Zupon Entertainment, Sid Kaufman will oversee the company's licensing and merchandising activities. Throughout his 30-year career, he has held top management positions with Universal, MGA and Live Nation.

Shevick*Zupon will market the estate under the brand name Stan Winston's Creatures, which includes properties Blood Wolves, Extreme Gargoyles, Mutant Earth, Realm of the Claw, Robot Revolt, Four Horsemen, Morgoolum, Alien Universe and Dark World. Many of the titles have had limited runs in comic books and graphic novels, and featured in video games. Some also have feature-film scripts. Shevick*Zupon Entertainment will be exhibiting Stan Winston's Creatures this week at Comic-Con in San Diego. The Stan Winston's Creatures exhibit (booth 1605) will feature prototypes of many of the creatures.

Shevick*Zupon Entertainment is led by Jerry Shevick, president, and Mark Zupon, chief executive officer. Its development efforts are spearheaded by alternative television industry veteran Amy Shpall-Appel. The company is represented by Joan Harrison at The Gersh Agency.
