G-III Apparel has tapped Jones Apparel Group to exclusively design and distribute men's jeanswear for the Andrew Marc brand.

The deal marks Jones Apparel's entrance into the men's jeanswear category. Currently, the company's jeanswear division includes 12 women's brands such as Gloria Vanderbilt, L.e.i., GLO, Nine West and Jessica Simpson.

In the agreement, Jones Apparel will initially launch jeanswear for the Marc Moto label, a Rebel Division of Andrew Marc. The range will hit retailers in the fourth quarter, followed by Andrew Marc and Marc New York rollouts in 2011. The denim-inspired line will include jeans, casual pants, shorts, jackets, T-shirts, sweaters and woven and knit tops. The Marc Moto collection will retail from $24 to $79. The Andrew Marc brand is currently sold at better department and specialty stores, including Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Saks, Macy's and Lord & Taylor.
