JCP Promotes Two to EVP Roles

Michael Theilmann and Thomas Nealson have been promoted to group executive vice president positions at JCPenney.Theilmann will now be responsible for JCPenney's stores organization and will continue to lead supply chain, human resources and administration

Michael Theilmann and Thomas Nealson have been promoted to group executive vice president positions at JCPenney.

Theilmann will now be responsible for JCPenney's stores organization and will continue to lead supply chain, human resources and administration operations. He joined JCPenney in 2005 as chief human resources and administration officer. Theilmann previously held roles at Yum! Brands, Burger King and Grand Metropolitan.

Meanwhile, Nealson will oversee the retailer's Internet site (Jcp.com) in addition to his current responsibilities for IT, corporate strategy and digital ventures. Before joining the company in 2006 as chief information office, Nealson worked at EDS, Feld Group and Frito-Lay, a division of PepsiCo.
