Chapman Entertainment has secured British comedian James Corden as the voice of the narrator in its preschool series "Little Charley Bear," which is scheduled to launch in early 2011 on CBeebies.

James Corden is a BAFTA-winning comedy actor, writer and producer. His recent work includes a No. 1 World Cup hit single, "Shout for England." Corden will also star with Orlando Bloom in next year's feature film The Three Musketeers.

"We are absolutely thrilled to be working with James Corden on our new imaginative and playful brand Little Charley Bear," says Greg Lynn, managing director of Chapman Entertainment. "Not only is he an exceptional talent, but his voice is very warm and he creates great humor in every episode—there is a very fun relationship that exists between the narrator and Little Charley Bear."
