ITV Studios Global Entertainment has appointed Maggy Harris as its new head of brand marketing, consumer products.
In her new role Harris will be responsible for strategic and operational brand marketing support across merchandising, retail and promotions within ITVS GE. She will report to Giles Ridge, director of content and brand development, as well as play a key role on the consumer products team.
“As the demands of a successful business grow it’s important to find the right people to manage that growth,” says Ridge. “We were especially keen to appoint someone who could build on the successful activity implemented by the brand team to date and further enhance our marketing function, strategy and support. Maggy Harris has just the experience we are looking for.”
In her 25 years in the business, Harris has worked in all aspects of merchandise licensing, including TV/entertainment, art and design, brands, lifestyle and interactive, both in the U.K. and internationally. Harris comes to ITVS GE from Ignition Licensing, the independent licensing and brand management company she helped to establish. Prior to working at Ignition she held senior roles at Copyrights and Hallmark.
