The agreement will see the distribution division of ITV Studios promote and develop the Alan Titchmarsh brand and his program brands across a range of consumer products. In addition, Titchmarsh will present new series of daytime and factual programming for ITV1.
ITV Studios Global Entertainment will work closely with Alan to create a range of consumer products across the Alan Titchmarsh brand; as well as exploiting the intellectual property of his program brands through home entertainment, publishing and consumer products. The ITV Studios Global Entertainment team will begin discussions with potential licensees and partners at Spring Fair.
“Alan Titchmarsh’s brand has a unique resonance and authority with consumers; his recent partnership with B&Q to provide gardening advice to their customers is an excellent example of this and the potential to develop his intellectual property across a range of platforms,” says Jean-Philippe Randisi, executive vice president and director of consumer products for ITV Studios Global Entertainment. “We’re looking forward to building on existing activities to work with licensees to create a range of products for the gardening sector and beyond.”
