“Subway Surfers” is a 3D platform game that pits graffiti artists against the attentions of a railway security guard and his dog. The game is available as an app for iPad, iPhone and iPod, and has more than 28 million downloads and 1.7 billion game place sessions logged since its launch. The app will launch next month on the Android platform.

“Subway Surfers is a fantastic brand,” says Morten Geschwendtner, chief executive officer, Ink. “It combines cute graphics with incredibly addictive gameplay and has the potential to become the next big app brand to successfully transfer into the licensing sector. Given the huge amount of sales it has generated in a very short space of time the sky is the limit with this property and I’m confident that it won’t be long until ‘Subway Surfers’ is as well known as ‘Fruit Ninja’ or ‘Angry Birds.’”
