The German m4e Group has appointed Copenhagen-based Ink, formerly known as Kidz Entertainment, licensing and merchandising agent for the TV show "Mia and Me."

Ink will develop a program for the series, which is a unique hybrid of live action and CGI animation, in the Nordic, Baltic and CIS territories as well as in Eastern Europe. The TV-series made its market debut at last year’s MIPcom, after becoming the most requested program at MIPJunior.

"We are very excited to be representing 'Mia and me,'" says Morten Geschwendtner, chief executive officer at Ink. "The property offers huge potential in licensing terms and we will be working closely with the team at m4e to build on this to produce a strong and diverse program."

M4e, as well as its subsidiary Telescreen and co-production partner Rainbow, handle the international distribution of rights of “Mia and Me.” The series will premiere on TV internationally in spring 2012.
