Ignition Licensing is to represent The Jim Henson Company's "Fraggle Rock," the iconic series that first aired more than 25 years ago from 1983 to 1987.

There is a revised online style guide in which the characters have received fresh treatments using vintage icons and retro designs. The U.S. has kick-started the merchandising program with a Fraggle Rock Forever fashion collection designed by Los Angeles designers, Dr. Romanelli and Pascal Mouawad in conjunction with Anita Ko for jewelry. Both lines launched Christmas 2009 at Kitson in Los Angeles and Collette in Paris.

Meanwhile in the U.K., the show continues to air on Cartoon Network and first licensees include Manhattan Toy Company for plush and puppets, Rasta Imposta for dress up, Fashion U.K. for apparel and Hype for greetings cards. Ignition is in discussion with a number of partners in the areas of gifting and collectibles, stationery, apparel and accessories, publishing and homewares. "Fraggle Rock" has four seasons of 96 episodes.
