Hostess Brands announced Friday that it is going out of business and will be selling its brands, which include Twinkies, Ding Dongs, Ho Ho's, Donettes, Wonder Bread and Nature's Pride.

Hostess Brands, which has been struggling to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy, sited a nationwide strike by one of the company's largest unions, the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union, as the final nail in the coffin of the iconic American bakery company.
