H&M has announced that it will launch its online store on Sept. 16 in the U.K., stocking womenswear, menswear, childrenswear, accessories and its recently launched home collection, which includes bed linen, curtains, cushions and towels.
The move is part of the retailer's U.K. expansion strategy. Last week, H&M announced a 24 percent net profit increase in the second quarter of the year. It currently operates an e-commerce platform in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Austria, Germany, The Netherlands and Finland.
Subscribers to the H&M newsletter will be given an additional week of shopping ahead of the official launch.
