Barney and his friends will be developed into a plush line from Russ Berrie in a recent deal with HIT Entertainment.

The plush toys, featuring Barney, BJ, Baby Bop and Riff, will be introduced this fall in the U.S. at specialty markets, followed by all retailers in 2011. The range will include plush with interactive, moving, talking and singing features; plush puppets; plush beanies; plush key chains; plush backpack clips; and plush bookmarks.
