HIT Entertainment signed three deals for new lines of Thomas & Friends apparel, footwear and accessories.
LF USA, a subsidiary of Li & Fung, is now the master apparel partner for Thomas & Friends in the U.S. SG Footwear has signed on to produce footwear, and ABG Accessories will produce headwear, rainwear, umbrellas and cold weather outerwear.
The relationship with LF USA expands upon the successful partnership for sleepwear currently in place. LF USA’s AME Sportswear division will design, produce and market apparel sets and separates; while LF USA develops unique retail-specific apparel programs and partnerships. The line will be available at mass, mid-tier and department store retailers next spring.
The SG Footwear line, which includes athletic footwear, boots, molded shoes, sandals and slippers, will hit retailers this fall.
ABG Accessories, including headwear, rainwear and umbrellas, cold weather accessories and belts, will launch this spring.
