“Ox Tales” appears as a daily comic in newspapers across Europe, and is broadcast around the world as an animated TV series co-produced with TV Tokyo. Highstreet Media will represent “Ox Tales” for licensing deals in existing markets, as well as leverage the character’s potential in Asian markets.
“The generation who grew up with ‘Ox Tales’ are now becoming parents themselves and this is driving renewed licensing interest,” says Paul Palse, director at Highstreet Media. “Another factor driving this is the recent re-mastering of the TV series. Following strong commercial performance in Europe, we will look for partners in key Asian markets to expand the property.”
