Strong support on Portuguese broadcasters RTP and Canal Panda, have enabled Big Storm Studios to sign licenses for Gombby’s Green Island in Portugal including LeYa for books, Concentra for toys, Majora for puzzles and games, LNK for home entertainment, Farol Musica for music CDs and DVDs, K-Stationery for school garments and stationery and Zero a Oito for magazines.
TVE’s Clan TV launched the broadcast of the television series in Spain in May 2011 and Big Storm Studio has appointed Suma Licensing as its licensing agent in the region.
“Gombby's Green Island” was a finalist in last year's License This! licensing challenge, and has appointed awol animation to distribute the television and home entertainment rights internationally.
