Global Pursuit has hired marketing executive Amanda Wang to oversee licensing and marketing efforts for its China business.

Wang brings to Global Pursuit nearly two decades of licensing and brand management experience. She previously served as a manager at Click! Licensing Asia where she oversaw brands like Sesame Street, Pink Panther, Paul Frank and Mr. Men and Little Miss.

“Amanda brings an impressive track record of success in China,” says Cynthia Money, president, Global Pursuit. “Her local expertise is unparalleled and we’re sure clients will value the insight she brings to our marketing efforts. This hire is a big step forward for our growing company and gives us a stronger presence in the largest market in the world.”

Global Pursuit is a joint venture between game developer and entertainment producer, Gamania Digital Entertainment and the US-based marketing and licensing agency, Brand Reality. The company already has offices in San Francisco, Calif., Taipei, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing, and plans to open a European office later this year.
