Televisa Consumer Products is initiating a number of new worldwide expansion strategies, including positioning for the business in the U.S. and Latin America.

Due to consumer demand of Hispanic brands in the U.S., TCP recently opened a U.S office in Miami, Fla., and will now manage its brand licensing directly in the country. The company previously did its business through agents in the U.S.

Meanwhile, TCP has partnered with Exim Licensing (Latin America) to handle merchandising in Argentina. TCP also operates an office in Spain and manages the European market for properties such as "Patito Feo" and "Rebelde."
