The Continuity Company of Düsseldorf, in collaboration with the German football association’s (DFB) licensing agency m4e, has released a new line of DFB collector’s cards in anticipation of the upcoming Euro 2012 European football championship.

The cards are now available at the supermarket chain REWE across the country as a loyalty program. For every €10 spent at participating REWE stores, customers will receive one of 32 official trading cards.

“We are very pleased that we have REWE together with us as a partner within the scope of this special initiative with its focus on the [Union of European Football Associations’] Euro 2012,” says Oliver Beirhoff, manager of the German national team. “The official DFB collector’s cards 2012 and the accompanying album make a wonderful souvenir and a beautiful memento for the fans of Germany’s national football team.”

The Euro 2012 tournament begins in July and will be hosted in Poland and the Ukraine.
