The Generator Rex licensing programme is being debuted by Turner CN Enterprises this year. From the creators of Ben 10, Generator Rex tells the stories of a boy who is able to fashion mechanical weapons and vehicles from his own body. His adventures combine being an adrenaline-fuelled super agent with the ups and downs of teen-hood. Turner's Alan Fenwick hopes the show will build on the success of Ben 10.
"Generator Rex" is on-air in the US already, Mattel and Activision are key partners, and more will be announced at the show this week. Broadcast starts in the UK this month with other markets starting in 2011. Another 20 episodes are in development, bringing the total to 40. Products will roll out in the UK in Q2 next year, Q4 across the rest of EMEA.
