With more than 5 million fans on Facebook, Garfield has up’ed the ante by introducing a new digital trading card game–Garfield Collections. The virtual card collecting and trading game is a collaboration between Garfield’s licensing company, Paws, DeckDAQ, creator of the new game, and Universal Uclick, syndicator of the Garfield comic strip. 

The TCG, which launched Wednesday, is built around the experience of collecting and trading branded virtual cards featuring Garfield imagery. Fans are encouraged to collect all 48 cards in Garfield's Rules for Life card line. Additional themed lines will be released as fans progress in the game.
