FremantleMedia named Karsten Bartholin head of development at Blu, FremantleMedia’s Danish production arm, effective Aug. 1. Bartholin's appointment further strengthens Blu’s leadership team and its ability to develop and produce leading reality and entertainment formats for the Danish market and beyond.

Karsten Bartholin brings with him a wealth of experience in format development, having co-created Babyfoot, the company behind reality format "Big In Japan," which ran for two seasons on ABC as "I Survived A Japanese Game Show."
