The two-hour musical special event, produced by Broadway Worldwide, will be presented to the international marketplace for the first time at MIP-TV 2011 in high definition, Dolby E Surround.
Memphis is the first Broadway musical to be offered in theaters and on television during its initial theatrical run. Inspired by actual events, Memphis is about a white DJ out to change the world and a black club singer who is ready for her big break.
