Fourth Castle signed an agreement to become the master merchandising licensee for web comic “Cyanide & Happiness.” The deal marks Fourth Castle’s first departure from horror, science fiction and comic brands.

The web comic is slated for a broad merchandising program that will include t-shirts, toys and gifts, novelties, housewares and school supplies. Merchandise will hit stores this summer.

“We’re excited to be working on a brand that has such an irreverance and biting humor that appeals to a younger demographic,” says Joe Sena, president of Fourth Castle. “After years of providing quality merchandise for the baby-boomer target, we look forward to assisting in the arrested development of the next generation.”
