Nerd Corps Entertainment has begun production on its first preschool series, “Kate and Mim-Mim.” FremantleMedia Enterprises will have exclusive worldwide distribution and licensing rights (excluding Canada). The series will hit airwaves in 2014.

We fell in love with the concept behind ‘Kate and Mim-Mim,’ and Julie and Scott [Stewart] are just the kind of creators we want to work with,” says Ken Faier, president, Nerd Corps Entertainment.  “FME has a proven track record in global brand development so working with them offers us a fantastic opportunity to extend this property worldwide.”

“Kate and Mim-Mim” is a comedy for children ages 3 to 6 and is centered on the friendship between a feisty 5-year-old (Kate) and her plush toy bunny, Mim-Mim.

CBeebies has already ordered the first series for broadcast in the U.K.
