FremantleMedia Enterprises has added a quartet of new U.K. licensees for its preschool brand Tree Fu Tom, just as the first range of products is set to hit retail in the spring.

New partners include VTech for electronic learning toys, Brand International for footwear, GB Eye for posters and badges and International Greetings for creative publishing, stationery, arts and crafts and crackers.

“These four new high-quality licensees will provide additional variety and breadth to the growing Tree Fu Tom product range,” says Pindy O’Brien, vice president, brand licensing and retail U.K., FME. “With the imminent core retail rollout and a new series also due to air this year, 2013 looks set to be a spectacular year for this vibrant preschool property.”

Among the products from existing partners set to arrive on shelves this spring are toy collections from Giochi Preziosi and GP Flair, books from Random House Children’s Publishing, puzzles from Ravensburger and a triscooter, skateboard and helmet from MV Sports.

“Tree Fu Tom” is a co-production between FME and the BBC for CBeebies. The show currently airs in multiple territories internationally and will launch in Spain, Portugal, Finland and Latin America this year.
