Feld Motor Sports unveiled its Big Build, a life size replica of the Grave Digger monster truck made from K'Nex blocks, in San Antonio, Texas as part of the 30th anniversary of the iconic monster truck. The life-size Grave Digger Build will tour select cities across the U.S this year.

The model was made from close to a quarter of a million K’Nex construction pieces and assembled by Royal British Legion Industries, taking approximately 1,000 man-hours to create.

The model will feature authentic Grave Digger tires, tour in its own trailer and travel with its own pit crew while on its tour, which includes a special appearance at Monster Jam World FinalsSM XIII in Las Vegas, Nev.

“Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam is excited to highlight the K’Nex-produced Grave Digger Big Build as part of the Grave Digger 30th Anniversary celebration,” says Ken Hudgens, chief operating officer, Feld Motor Sports. “The Grave Digger 30th anniversary life-size K’Nex build will be a special feature in select cities as part of our Grave Digger 30th anniversary experience, during the Monster Jam pre-show Party in the Pits.”

“We’re very excited to have partnered with Monster Jam on the 30th anniversary Grave Digger Big Build,” says Michael Araten, chief executive officer and president, K’Nex. “Building a life-size version entirely out of USA made K’Nex pieces seems like a perfect way to honor this American icon.”
