FAO Schwarz, operated by Toys"R"Us, is opening approximately 10 Christmas pop-up stores across the U.S.

The FAO Schwarz pop-ups feature high-quality plush (including FAO exclusives gentle giant elephant and zebra), soft collectible plush, a small replica of the Big Piano mat, wooden and tin toys, collectible ornaments and branded gifts. More specific products will include Harry Potter toys and dress-up clothes, Fancy Nancy books and Madame Alexander dolls, Schleich Smurfs figures and LittleMissMatched accessories.

Shops have already opened in Tysons Galleria in McLean, Va., and The Mall at Chestnut Hill in Chestnut Hill, Mass. Upcoming openings include Garden State Plaza in Paramus, N.J.; Aventura Mall in Aventura, Fla.; The Westchester in White Plains, N.Y.; Old Orchard in Skokie, Ill.; Oakbrook Center in Oak Brook, Ill.; and South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, Calif. The shops will be open until mid-January 2011.
