Nick Jr's "Wubb Idol" movie, based on the network's TV series "Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!," will be available this October nationwide on DVD.

The DVD debut, from Anchor Bay Entertainment, will also be supported with two books from Scholastic and a Sing-a-Song Shine doll from Fisher-Price to hit retail this fall. "Wubb Idol" features a voiceover from Beyoncé Knowles as "Shine" and also includes an original song composed and performed by the recording artist.

"'Wubb Idol" was such a huge hit with audiences on Nickelodeon that we're thrilled to bring it to DVD—with even more content, bonus features and fun—for kids and families nationwide to enjoy together whenever they wish," says Julie Cartwright, vice president of brand marketing for Anchor Bay Entertainment.

"Wubb Idol" premiered on Nickelodeon in April. "Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!" is currently in its second season on Nick Jr and Nickelodeon's Noggin.
