Platinum Films has tapped Exim Licensing to represent its series “Matt Hatter Chronicles” in Latin America.

Platinum Films plans to work closely with Exim to develop a comprehensive licensing program that will roll out across South America in 2014. Exim’s digital division, Exim Technology, will support the product launch with a digital campaign that will include mobile promotions, social media events, advergaming and an augmented reality mobile app.

The South American program will follow the U.K. roll out, which is planned for this year and is being spearheaded by ITVS GE. ITVS GE represents “Matt Hatter Chronicles” in the U.K., Eire, Australia and New Zealand.

“We are delighted to be representing ‘Matt Hatter Chronicles’ in LatAm,” says Celso Rafael, executive vice president, Exim. “This dynamic property has enormous L&M potential and will be a key focus for Exim this year as we implement a comprehensive 360-degree, cross-platform strategy to establish Matt Hatter as the hottest boy’s brand in the market, further replicating its international success.”
