Character World has scored the exclusive license to produce a range of goods for Everton Football Club ahead of the next season, strengthening the licensee’s presence in the sports licensing field. Products will include single, double and cabin beds, inflatable seating and headboards.

In addition to Everton, which is nicknamed the Toffees, Character World already produces licensed beds featuring the club crest designs of the England FA and premiership clubs Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal. To date, retail listings for the Everton range include Play.com and Home Bargains. Items will be on sale from July. 

“Our sports division is an area of the business that is growing steadily. We’ve recently invested in a new micro site showcasing all our sports-related licensed goods to prospective retailers. Sports licensing is fast becoming an integral part of the business,” says Danny Schweiger, joint managing director at Character World. The license was awarded by Kitbag Limited, which holds the exclusive license for all Everton merchandising.
