Entertainment One has confirmed that Peppa Pig will return to the stage this autumn in a new live show, “Peppa Pig’s Treasure Hunt.” The new show will tour the U.K. and Ireland from Oct. 13 until next July 2012. 

Peppa Pig’s first stage tour, “Peppa Pig’s Party,” played more than 650 performances in 90 venues across the UK and Ireland. The show grossed $8.7 million in sales, making it one of the top performing children’s shows of 2010 and 2011.

Off-stage, Peppa Pig has just celebrated its most successful year ever in the U.K., racking up $322 million in merchandise sales in 2010.
