Entertainment One has confirmed that Peppa Pig will return to the stage this autumn in a new live show, “Peppa Pig’s Treasure Hunt.” The new show will tour the U.K. and Ireland from Oct. 13 until next July 2012.
Off-stage, Peppa Pig has just celebrated its most successful year ever in the U.K., racking up $322 million in merchandise sales in 2010.
“We’re delighted to be working with Fiery Angel and Limelight Productions on a second Peppa Pig live stage show,” says Andrew Carley, Head of Licensing, Entertainment One. “They’re a talented team with a proven ability to create productions of the most incredible quality that bring the world of Peppa Pig alive for young fans and parents alike.”
