Entertainment One Family has appointed Monica Candiani as head of international sales, based in London.

In her new role, Candiani will be responsible for the international TV, home entertainment and digital sales of eOne Family’s properties, which include Peppa Pig, Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom and Rob the Robot. She will also be responsible for pre-sales in order to raise funding for eOne Family’s growing slate of comedies targeted to older audiences and will work closely with eOne’s licensing division to strengthen ties with broadcasters that will support the international expansion of Peppa Pig.

Candiani joins eOne from Rainbow where she was sales manager. At Rainbow she managed the international distribution of the company’s children’s programming and was instrumental in the global success of Winx Club.
