The three-year deal will see Egmont publish coloring and activity, annuals, story and novelty books. Egmont Publishing Group is the first licensing partner for Chowder in the U.K.
"'Chowder' is hilarious, we fell in love with him immediately," says David Riley, managing director of Egmont Publishing Group. "The colorful story-lines, zany characters and the show's ability to captivate children and adults alike will underpin the success of the range when it launches at retail in October 2010."
"Chowder" launched on TV in April 2009 and regularly ranks in the top slots on Cartoon Network, alongside "Ben 10" and "Star Wars: The Clone Wars."
