Egmont Publishing Group has signed a deal with Sanrio to publish Hello Kitty Magazine in the U.K. The new monthly magazine will launch on Aug. 8.
Aimed at girls ages 5 to 8, the magazine will include Hello Kitty activities and stories using Hello Kitty artwork with immersive pictorial content and lively colors.
“We are delighted to be working in partnership with Sanrio on such an established brand and are excited about launching Hello Kitty Magazine in August,” says Debbie Cook, director of magazines, Egmont Publishing Group. “As the experts in publishing for girls, Hello Kitty will be a welcome addition to the Egmont portfolio."
Egmont already publishes the Hello Kitty Magazine in 13 territories; the U.K. will be the 14th.
