Overall, Ducati North America announced retail gains of 35 percent in December 2010 over the same period in 2009, contrasting the overall industry, which declined 15 percent in the third quarter of 2010 and 14 percent in the fourth quarter.

Ducati attributed its success in 2010 to a combination of new products, dealer network support and marketing programs.
