Twofour54, the company behind preschool property Driver Dan's Story Train, has signed a multi-territory master toy deal with Golden Bear for the series.

Golden Bear will have manufacturing and distribution rights in the U.K., Middle East, Republic of Ireland and Australia, as well as manufacturing rights in the U.S. The deal was brokered by Aoh!k Commercial, the newly appointed U.K. licensing and merchandising agent for Driver Dan's Story Train.

The licensed range will include plush and plastic toys, electronic and mechanical toys and devices, as well as 3-D plush water bottle cases and 3-D pajama sets. The items will launch in fall/winter 2011. Golden Bear will also develop a limited range of arts and crafts products, including mechanical drawing devices and felt kits. The first range of toys from Golden Bear will debut at the Toy Fair Olympia exhibition in January 2011.

In addition, a home entertainment deal for "Driver Dan's Story Train" has been signed with Universal Pictures for DVD releases

in the U.K. and Australia. The first of the DVDs will be released in 2011.Driver Dan's Story Train's current merchandise program includes a range of books from Macmillan Children's Books, which are already on shelves in the U.K. An interactive website is also up.
