The line will include adult T-shirts, featuring characters from Dahl's books, as well as children's, juniors' and men's lines from knit tops and bottoms to loungewear and boxer shorts. The apparel will begin rolling out this year to mid-tier and specialty stores.
"Nostalgia really is back in fashion and it's fantastic that the brand's appeal increases year on year both here and abroad. We are extremely optimistic about what is in store for 2010," says Alicia Davenport, licensing director of DRi Licensing.
In other recent Dahl licensing news, Rizzoli is working on a calendar for U.S. distribution, which will feature a variety of moments from his books each month.
