Plus Licens has been tapped to represent The Jungle Book by DQE Entertainment in the Nordic and Eastern European territories.
In the deal, Plus Licens will expand the property into Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Russia and several other countries in Eastern Europe. The Jungle Book merchandise and books will be marketed to the region early next year, coinciding with the television broadcast. The series will be distributed by ZDF TV and ZDF Enterprises, Germany.
Plus Licens adds The Jungle Book to a client portfolio that also includes Dragon Ball, Elmo's World, Felix the Cat, Global Grover, Naruto, One Piece, Peanuts and Play with Me Sesame.
