DQ Entertainment signed several consumer products deals for its CGI animated series "The Jungle Book." JCCTV and Nickelodeon India have acquired the broadcasting rights for the new series, aimed at children aged 6-10, which will air in 22 countries.
Bimnambom, an Israeli based promotions company, will use the Jungle Book trademark and logo for promotion at festivals and shows in Israel.
Germany-based DuMont Kalenderverlag will make calendars in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
India-based B. Jain Group will publish a series of Jungle Book books in English, Tamil and Malayalam. B. Jain has the rights to publish Jungle Book story books, activity books, coloring books and puzzles.
In Germany, Blue Ocean Entertainment will produce a Jungle Book sticker collection and sticker album in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The Planeta Junior Italia, part of De Agostini Group, Italy, have been appointed as the licensing and merchandising agents for The Jungle Book in Italy, San Marino, Vatican City, Malta and Italian speaking Switzerland, Greece and Cyprus.
