Big Tent Entertainment is taking the Japanese mascot Domo on tour in the U.S. this summer.
Domo’s first-ever summer tour, Hungry Thirsty Sweaty, started on July 30 and will continue through Aug. 20 up and down the West Coast.
“To say Domo is a social media success story is a giant understatement,” says Rich Collins, chief executive officer, Big Tent Entertainment. “The truth is that Domo has acquired a fan base unlike any other character of his kind. This tour is designed to reward those fans and thank them for their devotion and amazing creativity.”
Domo will make appearances at Spencer’s stores and other retail locations, as well as at some of this summer’s biggest music festivals including the Vans Warped Tour in Washington and Oregon and the Sunset Strip Festival in California.
To build excitement for his arrival, street artists Swank One and Teknyc have created Domo-inspired murals that will be prominently displayed in Los Angeles, Calif., and San Francisco, Calif., tour stops.
