Sofia the First, a little girl who becomes a princess when her mother marries the king of Enchancia, made its debut in an illustrated storybook from Disney Publishing, Tuesday. The book is available in print and e-book formats across the U.S.
Beginning tomorrow, Disney Junior is launching an online Sofia experience in anticipation of the "Sofia the First: Once Upon A Princess" TV movie, which will air on the Disney Channel Nov. 18 and Disney Junior Nov. 22.
The website will feature a party kit for the premiere of the TV movie, including invitations, recipe ideas and activity booklets.
A digital EP album from Walt Disney Records will also be released in the Apple iTunes store Nov. 13, and the "Sofia the First" series will premiere in early 2013.
The new brand is targeted to kids ages 2 to 7.
