The garments are hitting stores this fall to support the U.S. release of Disney's
film Nov. 23. The SpiritHoods will be based on Muppet characters including Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Animal and Gonzo, and available in both kids and adult sizes.
"The Muppets have long been beloved for their humor, pop-culture relevance and whimsy that appeals to fans of all ages," says Soo Koo, vice president of fashion and home creative for Disney Consumer Products. "We liked SpiritHoods approach in using storytelling to develop design-driven lifestyle accessories that bring these favorite characters to life in a humorous way for both children and adults."
