
The big winners were Nickelodeon, whose “The Penguins of Madagascar: The Return of the Revenge of Dr. Blowhole” took home the award for Outstanding Animated Program, and Disney, whose “Wizards of Waverly Place” was honored as the Outstanding Children's Program.
Other notable wins included Cartoon Network’s “Regular Show,” which won Outstanding Short-Format Animated Program for the episode called “Eggscellent,” and PBS whose “Sesame Street: Growing Hope Against Hunger” took home the award for Outstanding Children's Nonfiction, Reality or Reality-Competition Program.
Emmys in 26 other categories will be handed out at the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards, being broadcast this Saturday on ABC.
