Discovery Kids has acquired Latin American pay-TV broadcasting rights for "Jelly Jamm," a new animated musical series for kids ages 4 to 6. The show is developed and produced by Spanish independents Vodka Capital, 737 Shaker and Radio Television Española.

"Jelly Jamm" follows the adventures of five friends who, through their comedic adventures, learn to live in harmony on the magical musical planet Jammbo, origin of all music in the universe.

"Our aspiration is to transform Jelly Jamm into highly a recognizable cross-platform international kids entertainment brand," says Steven J. Posner, managing partner at Vodka Capital. It's an incredible opportunity for us to have such an excellent broadcast partner like Discovery Kids for the rollout of Jelly Jamm in Latin America."

The deal is subsequent to a distribution deal with Turner broadcasting across EMEA, which means that "Jelly Jamm" will premiere next year in more than 150 countries.
