Fashion designer Vera Wang is creating an exclusive bridal collection for David's Bridal. The line will roll out in early spring 2011 in the U.S. and in late 2011 in Canada.

The collection will initially include bridal gowns and accessories, and later expand into bridesmaid dresses and shoes. The line will retail under $1,500.

"This exciting, new partnership will now enable us to serve even more of America's brides, including those who could only dream of wearing a Vera Wang gown," says Bob Huth, president and chief executive officer of David's Bridal. "We understand the importance of a bride's special day and we're very proud to be able to complement the strength of our existing brands with an outstanding and exclusive collection by the most revered bridal designer in the world."

Vera Wang Licensing has a number of other partnerships, including fragrance and beauty products from Coty; eyewear from Kenmark; china, crystal, silver and gifts from Wedgwood; fine papers from William Arthur; mattresses from Serta; footwear from Brown Shoe and home fragrance from Nest Fragrance. Kohl's also has an exclusive deal with the designer for Simply Vera Wang.
