Chris Protheroe was recently promoted to executive vice president of Copyrights Promotions Licensing Group, the licensing arm of Cookie Jar. He previously served as managing director of CPLG Sport.
In his new role, Protheroe will continue to manage the sports business in addition to overseeing all operational aspects of CPLG worldwide. He will maintain his base in London.
"As CPLG continues its worldwide expansion, it's critical to have someone to handle the company's day-to-day and long-term operations," says Katarina Dietrich, chief executive officer of CPLG. "Chris has been instrumental in establishing and growing our sports division, and with his many years of licensing experience, we know that this will carry over into his new position."
