Copyright Promotions Licensing Group (CPLG) has been appointed as pan-European rights agency for Elvis Presley Enterprises. According to Vickie O’Malley, managing director of CPL UK, “We’ll be looking for ways to deliver a strategic and long-lasting licensing campaign, applying a proactive approach to the brand by seeking new licenses in new and sustainable categories.”

One of CPLG’s immediate targets is the 40th anniversary of Elvis’s 1968 Comeback Special. Using the stylized look of that television event, CPLG is developing a creative direction for new and existing licensees. Central to the program will be fashion, collectibles, memorabilia, accessories, and homewares and art.
