Bright and Beyond Licensing, part of Bright Group International, will launch a new style guide for hit Hallmark brand Country Companions at Brand Licensing Europe 2010. The guide has been developed with Watermelon.

The greeting card property has already been extended by Bright and Beyond into publishing, with Egmont set to produce 10 books a year, covering adult gifting, children’s picture books and a baby range. The focus is now on expanding the Country Companions brand into new categories including outdoor, gardening, food, gifting and apparel, with the style guide assisting licensees in developing retail-focused ranges featuring the much-loved Country Companions cast of characters.

Country Companions launched 23 years ago and the brand routinely appears in Hallmark’s best-selling seasonal card ranges, available in more than 5,000 different retailers across the U.K.
