Former Nelvana Enterprises president Doug Murphy was recently promoted to president of Corus Television, which kids' stations include YTV, Treehouse, Nickelodeon Canada and Teletoon.

Murphy joined Corus in December 2002 as executive vice president and general manager of Corus Kids and president of Nelvana. He previously worked at Walt Disney.
