Licensing deals for Jim Benton's It's Happy Bunny have been cut in France and Poland. In France, MJA Licensing has signed CCI Shoes to manufacture and market It's Happy Bunny slippers, canvas footwear, flip-flops and boots, while agent Plus Licens in Poland has B&S Polska for backpacks, bags, pencil cases, wallets, purses, mobile punches, CD holders and toiletry bags.
CopCorp's Barcode Kitties Muňecas Saica, an existing licensee for bags, stationery and pool/swim toys in Spain, has added sporting goods including bike accessories, bicycles, tricycles, scooters, skates, skate boards, ride-ons, basketballs, balls, racket sets, golf accessories, bowling sets, pop-up tents and body boards.
In Portugal, Manford International has won rights to produce Barcode Kitties fashion and gift bags, as well as gift items including children's watches, diaries, mugs, notebooks, key chains, photo holders and water globes.Also in Portugal, J.F. Ramos has signed to manufacture and market Barcode Kitties girls' skirts, dresses, tops, trousers, sweatshirts, shorts, t-shirts, swim suits, bikinis, parkas, caps, hats, scarves and gloves.
The three Barcode Kitties deals were brokered by CPLG Iberia.
In Russia, Premiera has signed the rights to make and market Barcode Kitties school notebooks, school diaries and schedules, as well as notebooks, diaries, notepads, drawing pads, colored paper and colored cardboard. This deal was secured by Plus Licens.
CopCorp Licensing has also appointed new international agents. MediaLink will manage the It's Happy Bunny licensing program in Southeast Asia (including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines) and Greater China (including China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan). In Turkey, Sinerji will manage the It's Happy Bunny and Barcode Kitties.
CPLG Germany has been named to manage the Barcode Kitties licensing program in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and Pro Entertainment has signed for the property in Argentina.
